Polynucleotides (Nucelofill)
What is it?
Nucleofill is a biological signalling molecule which signals cells to perform certain actions. Polynucleotides are molecular fragments naturally found within our DNA. It is a cutting-edge new treatment which acts as biostimulator. When injected into the skin, these molecules actively improve the health and appearance of the skin in three ways – Infusing deep and lasting moisture, providing potent detoxification, and supporting the skin on a cellular level. This results in firmer thicker skin by promoting collagen and elastin production. It is a non-hyaluronic acid-based treatment and can be a great alternative for those who are not suitable for HA treatments. What can I expect my appointment?
As with all treatments at Rae, consultation is key. Polynucleotides require several appointments with 2-4 weeks between treatments.
Eyes: 2-3 treatments
Skin: 2-3 treatments
Hair: 4-6 treatment.
There are very few risks or side effects to this treatment. Where possible a cannula is used to reduce the risk of bruising. It stings a little while going in and there is some mild swelling for about 24 hours after. The product is eliminated from the body over the 15 days following injection.
