When it came to naming the clinic it was important to have a name that carried meaning. Rae evokes a sense of sunshine and brightness, while having a special link to family. It is a family name on Caitriona’s maternal side which serves as a reminder of the core values of the clinic. Every patient should be treated as you would family - if a treatment is not right for them, then it is not right for you.
Caitriona has also worked with many charities both at home and abroad, including spending time in the refugee camps of northern Greece providing lifesaving treatment to those displaced by the war in Syria. She has also worked with East Meets West, providing treatment to adults and children in Vietnam who otherwise would not be able to access these services.
Her passions outside work include dining out with friends, there isn’t a new restaurant in Dublin that won’t be on her list. Swimming, cycling, running, and sailing also play a big role in her lifestyle. She feels being outside provides balance and mindfulness in this busy world.
